Do Phoenix Suns have an interest to Bojan Bogdanovic of Utah Jazz?
Brian Windhorst says he wouldn’t be surprised if the Phoenix Suns made an offer for Bojan Bogdanovic.
Windhorst mentions that the Suns are very active in trade talks right now, with Jae Crowder at the center of those talks. He goes on to say that several teams are interested in Bogdanovic, which is good news for the Jazz. With multiple teams interested, the Jazz will face another bidding war for one of last season’s key pieces.
Because of this, it looks like a Bogdanovic trade could be happening soon. We’ve heard multiple rumors of teams interested in Bojan Bogdanovic, including the Lakers, and that may be what drives this segment as much as anything else. Danny Ainge remains willing to trade these players, and it’s just a matter of waiting for a team willing to pay the price Ainge sets. Is that the price for Bogdanovic? First-round pick. That seems pretty easy for the Suns, as a late first-round pick is likely somewhere in the late 20s. That means Ainge is working his way through the offers. If there’s one thing we’ve learned this summer, it’s that Ainge will wait until he gets the best deal possible. But once you get it? The deal will happen.
There is another side here that can affect this. Are the Jazz floating this to get the Lakers to make a deal? The Jazz has shown this summer that they will make the best possible deal no matter who they are facing. If the Lakers insist on sending unprotected future picks to the Jazz for a possible Westbrook deal, they could soon find themselves empty-handed. Just ask the Knicks.
