Zach LaVine could be a target for Mavericks
After a surprise run to the Western Conference Finals last season, the Dallas Mavericks took a significant step back. That’s partly because of the absence of Jalen Brunson, & partly because of the deeper depth of the Western Conference.
Still, as we get closer to the NBA trade deadline, if the Mavs want to make strides again in the playoffs, they’ll probably need to make a deal. As good as Luka Doncic has been with the Mavericks this season, it’s unfair to expect him to don the Superman mantle every night.
While he’s done it so far this season, averaging 34 pts, nine assists & nine rebounds while shooting 51 percent from the field and 36% from three, it’s not a recipe for success in the long run.
Chicago Bulls wing Zach LaVine is reportedly a star player the team is eyeing. He may not be on the trade block right now, but the entire league is watching what’s happening in Chicago.
