Love commended Kyrie Irving in an interview with cleveland.com, saying, “The shots he makes, you just have to sit there and say, ‘Not much you can do about it.’ It’s been that way his whole career.”

 

“No doubt about it. Absolutely. When asked about the Cavaliers retiring Irving’s jersey, Love told a source, “Right away, after his career finishes. To me, it’s not even a question. He must be in that position. Consider how it all transpired — what it intended for the city, for his career, for LeBron’s legacy, and everything else, including that Golden State team, which went on to become a dynasty and was historically outstanding. He hit the largest shot in team history and one of the most powerful shots in Finals history.”

 

Irving took time out of his night after the Cavs game to sign autographs for fans, especially children, young adults, and many ladies, in the Cavs’ home parking lot, even though his leaving infuriated Cavs fans. He undoubtedly will live on in Cavs lore forever.
