Memphis Grizzlies

Watanabe, undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, participated in the NBA Summer League with the Brooklyn Nets.

Watanabe played in all 33 games of the 2020-21 NBA G League season, averaging 14.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 assists per game.

Before the start of the season, he was released and became an affiliate player for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Smith was released on February 1, 2022, after a knee injury ended his season.

The Miami Heat gave Smith a two-way deal on October 13, 2022. On November 13, he was released by the Heat and immediately signed with the Skyforce. On June 5, 1993, in Killeen, Texas, Royce Khalil O’Neale was born to parents Deborah Kingwood and Roy O’Neale.
