Premier League clubs spend £1.5bn to break summer transfer window record
Premier League clubs have smashed their spending records in the summer transfer window, one week away from the deadline, according to an analysis by financial firm Deloitte.
Top clubs spent £1.5bn this summer, surpassing the previous record of £1.4bn in 2017, according to Deloitte.
