Soccer 2023 Aston Villa vs. Hibernian

Following last week’s 5-0 win at Easter Road in Scotland, Villa produced another superb team performance in the Premier League on Sunday, beating Burnley 3-1.

Emery’s men have scored a staggering 12 goals in their next three games since the start of the season, with a 5-1 loss to Newcastle United on August 12.

Hibernian, meanwhile, are empty-handed again in the Premier League as they lost 3-2 to Livingston at the weekend. Lee Johnson’s side have lost their first three games in the new Scottish top flight and sit bottom of the table.

Hibernian have suffered four consecutive defeats in five away games in all competitions, with the 2-2 draw with Lucerne on August 17 being an exception.

Villa is in excellent form in the new season and is firing on all cylinders. Emery’s side were brilliant in attack and should be on track for another big win against struggling Hibernians.
