Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková won the women’s doubles title at the 2021 French Open. They defeated Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Iga Świątek 6-4, 6-2 in the final. This is their second French Open championship after winning in 2018 and the third Grand Slam championship of their duo.
By winning the championship, Krečkova regained the first place in the WTA. Kristina Mladnović ranked first in doubles. At the beginning of the game, Mladnović and Xie Suwei were also competing for rankings, but Xie lost in the third round.
Krečkova became the first woman to win both singles and doubles titles in a Grand Slam since the 2016 Wimbledon Championships Serena Williams, and the first woman to win the French Open since Mary Pierce in 2000 female.
Timia Babos and Christina Mladenovich are two-time defending champions, but Mladenovich chose not to participate. Babos fought side by side with Vera Zvonareva, but the two lost to Petra Matic and Shelby Rogers in the first round.
