Tiago Dantas: What ever happened to him?
Whatever happened to Tiago Dantas, a former possibility for Bayern Munich? He was a top-tier football player in Europe two years ago, and Hansi Flick particularly requested his inclusion. Currently, Dantas is a player for PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. What has changed since June 2021, when he left Bayern Munich?
In October 2020, Hasan Salihamidi said, “Let him surprise you!
“When Tiago Dantas was loaned to Bayern Munich. Unfortunately, the surprise never materialized. In 2020/2021. Let’s examine the Bundesliga crop, according to Transfermarkt:

Dantas returned to Benfica in 2021/2022 after a relatively unsatisfactory year at Bayern Munich because the club opted not to pay the buyout. Then CD Tondela quickly took him on loan. Dantas played a crucial role for Tondela in his native Portugal, appearing in 26 first-division games. Dantas, though, was unable to prevent the squad from going down.

When Tiago Dantas, now 21 years old, was first presented to PAOK Thessaloniki, he remarked, “I feel that I will be able to adjust very fast here. “I tend to be skinny among my colleagues; others tend to be larger and stronger. However, I can make up for that with my skill, said Dantas with assurance. “I think people all across the globe prefer to watch players like myself,” he continued. Dantas created a name for himself by scoring his first goal in his second appearance for the squad, even though the side did not go past the second round of qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League. In two games with PAOK, he scored twice as many goals as he did throughout his whole time at Bayern.
Unquestionably, it is a positive move. Dantas is still very young and undoubtedly possesses the confidence and potential to make things right. He may advance to one of the top five leagues in Europe when he gains more experience. Just in case, let’s keep a watch on this guy!
