Cameron Payne is a professional basketball player from the United States. Since 2020, he has played for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. In 2015, Payne was recognized for scoring his 1000th point at Murray State University in Kentucky.

As a point guard, he wears number 15, but he never thinks he deserves anything. The conference named him first-team All-OVC and Freshman of the Year during college.

Payne also strikes a good mix between optimism and expressive arts. He has good passes, but he could be a better shooter.

In 2022, Payne scored 29 points against the defending champion Golden State Warriors and won 130–119. This was the most points he had ever scored in his career.

Despite this, college teams only looked for him sometimes. Rivals.com gave him three stars, even though he wasn’t one of the top 100 talents.

Later, coach William Small got him to play college basketball at Murray State. This turned him from an unknown college student into a possible NBA lottery pick.

College
