As usual Europe has a strong representation in the World Cup with 13 teams from UEFA qualifying for the World Cup. There is no outright favourite to win World Cup 2022, but the likes of France, Brazil, Germany, Spain and Argentina are considered challengers.

• FRANCE

Chances Of France In The World Cup 2022. The 2018 World Cup was a joyride for French fans as Les Bleus eased their way to the final of the competition and ended up winning it. That win meant that France lifted the World Cup for only the second time in the nation’s history.

• BRAZIL

Five-time world champions follow France at 11/2 and they will be hoping to end a 20-year wait for glory, if and when they get to Qatar. Much of the focus when it came to Brazil in recent years centred on Neymar, but in 2019 a dynamic squad managed to win the Copa America without the talisman.

• GERMANY

Have been underwhelming in recent years however a change of coach could be what they need. The ‘Golden Generation’ of Belgium have been extremely underwhelming in major tournaments but are ranked number one in the world.

Coming into the world cup,  Germany to win 8/1 as the side will look to challenge. Although undergoing transition, the German side has a number of young talented players who would be leave their mark on the grand stage. It would be interesting to see how Germany copes up against the likes of Italy, Belgium, France, Brazil, and Argentina in the competition.

• SPAIN

The degree of their failure in that tournament in Russia on the eve of which their coach was sensationally dismiss and highlight the need to be much better prepared in 2022. One nation that has certainly seen massive changes in the squad, Spain would be coming into the 2022 FIFA World Cup as tournament favorites.

With the likes of Sergio Ramos, Ferran Torres, Adama Traoré, Álvaro Morata, Isco, and Rodri into their ranks, Luis Enrique and his side would be eager to make their mark once the world cup kicks off.

• ARGENTINA

Although the world cup has been a disappointing story for Argentina so far, the side has seen some additions in the ranks lately. The likes of Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala, and Giovani Lo Celso have certainly boosted the squad while the old stars would be ready to perform on the big stage again.

In fact, the 2022 World Cup may well be the last chance for Messi to win a trophy for his nation. However, considering the way Argentina has performed in previous world cups, the Albiceleste would be coming into the world cup as outside contenders.
