Who are the Favourites to win the Premier League 2022?

The Premier League 2021-2022 is the 30th season of the Premier League, the top English professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1992. This is the third season to use the video assistant referee (VAR) review system. The start and end dates for the season were released on 25 March 2021, and the fixtures were released on 16 June 2021.

Manchester City are the defending champions, having won their fifth Premier League title during the previous season.

The Premier League 2021-22 season started on Saturday, August 13, 2021. On June 28, 2021 fixtures for the upcoming EPL season were released. A total of 380 matches will be played.

The very first match of the season will be between Arsenal and Brentford.

Tottenham Hotspurs are likely to maintain the top spot in the points table are they are playing out of form Crystal Palace in GW 4. Man United with the return of Cristiano Ronaldo also has the best chance to climb the top spot in the Premier League 2021-22 points table if Spurs slip against Palace. West Ham, who are currently 2nd in the points table, will face Southampton away.

Arsenal will hope to clinch their first points of the season when they will face Norwich in GW 4. Defending champions Man City have a tough challenge lined up against them in the name of Leicester City. Liverpool will face Leeds and Chelsea will be up against Aston Villa.

Man City battered Arsenal for 5 goals. West Ham dropped their first points of the season with a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace. Tottenham Hotspurs went top of the points table with a 1-0 win against Watford.

Favourites to win Premier League 2022

Man United, Chelsea, and Man City are the top contenders to win the Premier League this season. The three sides have polished their sides in the summer transfer window with plenty of strong signings. Man United will be eager to win their first Premier League trophy in 9 years.

While Pep Guardiola will be influenced to retain their PL approve. Thomas Tuchel will apparently be eyeing a Premier League trophy after winning the Champions League the previous season.

However, Chelsea have an extra edge over all the other teams. The Blues are very much to do with confidence after their Champions League win and the addition of Romelu Lukaku in the side will apparently make them unstoppable.

As for the predictions for this season’s EPL is concerned, defending champions Manchester City are favorites to successfully defend their title.
