Will Nadal win French Open 2022?
Rafael Nadal is still one of the best tennis players in the world. The Spaniard is currently sitting in the #4 spot of the world rankings at 7815 points. All over his career, Nadal has won every possible title any tennis player dreams of.
He has won a total of 88 titles which puts him in 4th place for players with the most career wins in the history of the sport. The 35 year old is has an impressive career record of 1028 wins and 209 losses.
Rafael Nadal has won many major trophies throughout his career. He has won Wimbledon twice, 4x US open, 1x Australian open, and a record breaking 13x French open titles. It is obvious that Roland Garros and clay courts are one of his favorite surfaces to play at.
Rafael Nadal announced his cancellation from the 2021 U.S. Open, tennis’ final Grand Slam tournament of the year, and confirmed he will sit out the rest of the season because of a lingering foot injury.
Now Nadal will be sidelined until 2022, though he revealed his intention to return once healthy with hope for a couple of years to finish his career. Following more injury problems, Nadal withdrew from Toronto and Cincinnati, last August 20,2021 ended his season, citing his ongoing foot injury as the main issue.
